General Information

Kütahya Dumlupınar University Faculty of Engineering was established in 1992 and currently provides education in nine different departments. These departments are Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Geological Engineering, and Software Engineering.

Our departments offer curricula in accordance with the Bologna Process within the framework of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The Faculty provides students with an education that equips them with the engineering knowledge and skills required to meet the needs of regional industry, develops their research and project preparation skills, and enhances their communication abilities. Our Faculty has adequate laboratory, classroom, and social infrastructure and provides opportunities for extensive student and staff mobility through international agreements. In addition, our Faculty offers opportunities for double major and minor programs, enabling successful students to obtain degrees from two different departments simultaneously.

Through numerous industry and publicly funded projects carried out in the region, our Faculty contributes to solving engineering problems at both the national and regional levels. It also makes significant contributions to scientific development through its academic publications and the scientific meetings it organizes.
